Heritage Open Days – 14th & 15th September 2018 from 10-4. Exhibition of Original Botanical Late 19thC Watercolours by Mrs E.M. Cheales – these stunning botanical watercolours have been re-discovered after spending 100 years in a cloth bag. They are all identified and many of them have details of where the specimens were found in Lincolnshire. This unique exhibition will be held at the Sir Joseph Banks Centre, Bridge Street, Horncastle LN9 5HZ. Free Entry.
In addition, the Lincolnshire Quilters will present the first showing of quilts inspired by Sir Joseph at the Village Church Farm, Church Road South, Skegness PE25 2HF between 10-4. There is no charge for entry, the quilts will be above the cafe (lift available) together with a sales table and demonstrations.
